Reimbursement

Reimbursement is a type of health insurance claim settlement in which the policyholder is required to pay the entire hospital bill from his or her pocket and then submit all the necessary documents and bills to the insurer for reimbursement. This process is usually necessary when the hospital is not in the insurer's network or when a cashless claim has been rejected.
